Why we built this

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people suffer a cardiac arrest outside hospital. Survival depends on bystanders who know how to call for help, start CPR and use an AED. Yet in many communities, only a small fraction of people have ever been trained — and cost, time and access are major barriers.

We believe the knowledge part of first aid should be free for everyone. Our courses combine clear writing, expert videos, animations and interactive practice so learners understand not just what to do, but why.

What we are — and what we aren't

We provide high-quality online education and a free certificate of completion. We are not currently an accredited certification provider, and our certificate is not a legal or regulatory qualification. We encourage every learner to follow up with hands-on practice.
